Obituary for Musetta Olivia Taylor (Spence)
On Tuesday, April 27, 2021, Musetta Taylor, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away at age 87.
Musetta was born on June 17, 1933 in Waynesboro, GA where she was raised. She later moved to New Haven, CT where she studied at South Central Community College and received an A.S. degree in Food Services. She worked many years at the VA Hospital as a Food Service Supervisor. She was a faithful member to Pine Hill Baptist Church in Waynesboro, GA her whole life. She also attended Emmanuel Baptist Church of New Haven during her time in CT before returning back to her hometown in Georgia where she spent the remainder of her years.
Musetta is survived by her two sons, Michael and Gus Lane, daughter in-law, Martha Lane, grandson, Donnie Lane and several other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews who loved her very much. She was preceded in death by her late husband, William Taylor, step-daughters, Darlene Taylor Wikens, Eddie Taylor, Patricia Simmons, Geneva Taylor and step-sons, Mark, William and Venson Taylor.
