Michael O’Hara Jones Jr. was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 26th, 1989 to Gillian and Michael Jones Sr. He fell asleep in death peaceably on September 23, 2020 in his home in Conyers, Georgia. Michael was also affectionately called “Mike” by all who knew and loved him. Mike graduated from Columbia High School in 2007. He later went on to complete his technical studies to work as a heating and air maintenance technician. Mike loved to cook for his family and friends. Always willing to throw something on the grill. His other interests included hunting, fishing and anything outside. Michael loved his children more than anything earthly, and he leaves to cherish his memories, a son Micah Jones and a daughter Maddison Jones. Also cherishing his memories, his loving parents Gillian and Michael Jones Sr. His sisters: Tyanna Mendez (Jesus), Michelle Stroman (John), and Tierney Jones. Grandparents Johnnie and Jerry Moore. And a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends. Mike Jr. was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents Geneva and Cortez Jones. Mike will be laid to rest at his family’s cemetery, located on the land that Mike loved. He enjoyed hunting, riding the dirt bike, target shooting, bird hunting and occasionally mended a fence.
