Larry Dukes was born March 7, 1960 to the late Henry Adams, Jr. and Laura B. Bess whom both preceded him in death, along with two siblings; Henrietta Adams and Edward Adams.
Larry attended the Burke County Public Schools. He was employed at Samson Manufacturing Company until his health failed him.
Larry leaves to cherish his memories: seven sisters; Bertha (Landall) Brown, Rebecca Evans, Vickie Lewis and Tarene Lewis all of Augusta, GA, Christie (Marcus) Henry of Waynesboro, GA, Orretha Bess of Hinesville, GA and Henrietta (Larry) Raines of Boston, MA, two brothers; Johnny Bess, Jr. of Waynesboro, GA and Willie James Thomas of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
