God in his infinite wisdom, has taken our beloved Josh Jeffery Mobley, Sr., on October 19, 2020. Josh was born in Burke County to Marvin Mobley, Jr. and the late Jacqueline Wesby. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Terrell Bernard Walker . Josh graduated from Waynesboro High School in 1979, afterwards working in various jobs until he found his love for driving trucks. Jeff was a strong and determined man, and although he was ill, he never let that stop him from his love of driving trucks. He was employed a Harris Trucking Company up until his untimely death. “Jeff” as he was called by everyone was loving and funny. Everywhere he went he had a smile and made you laugh. He would always come up with a joke or something to make you smile. He leaves to cherish his memories: his father; Marvin Mobley, Jr., of Savannah, Georgia, a son; Josh Jeffery (Shakendra) Mobley, Jr. of Alexandria, Louisiana, a daughter; Kiondra (Shaunnie) Mobley of Germany, three brothers; Marion Mobley of Savannah, Georgia, Troy Wesby of Augusta, Georgia and Ryan Rhodes of Charleston, South Carolina, five sisters; Wanda Williams of Martinez, Georgia, Gloria Savoy of Evans, Georgia, Japonica Wesby of Augusta, Georgia, Malatia Mobley of Richmond Hill, New York and Alicia Rhodes of Tampa, Florida, a sister-in-law; Alice L. Walker, four grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
