Obituary for Curtis Green

Today, we pause to reflect and celebrate the life of the one we loved so dearly, Curtis Green, who made the transition from labor to
reward on Saturday, April 17, 2021. He obediently answered “Yes” when God called him into eternal rest.

The life of Curtis Green began on April 2, 1955, in Burke County, Georgia. He was the son of the late James C. Green, Sr. and Mattie Green.

Curtis was educated in the public schools of Burke County and was a cement finisher and brick mason by trade.

Curtis was preceded in death by: Johnny Lee Green, James C. Green, Jr., Prince Albert Green, Earnest Green, and Diane Barnes.

Curtis leaves to cherish his memories: three sisters, Mrs. Lacy (Hilliard) Baker of Waynesboro, GA, Ms. Dorothy Cummings of
Augusta, GA, and Mrs. Phila (Van) Word of St. Petersburg, FL; two brothers, Mr. Charles E. (Kimberly) Green, Sr. of Waynesboro,
GA, and Mr. Robert Green of Amherst, MA; his wife, Myrtis Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and
friends.
