Obituary for Beatrice Freeman Gaines (Freeman)

Mrs. Beatrice F. Gaines was born in Waynesboro, Georgia on September 12, 1936 to the late Mr. Thomas Freeman and Ms. Cherry Lee Rouse.

She spent her life in Waynesboro as a servant of God, and active member of Daniel Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she
served in the choir and usher's ministries. She grew up working on her family farm in Burke County, GA and went on to work various
positions at Plant Vogtle and Savannah River Site.

She was married to the late Mr. Leon Edison Gaines and to this union six children were born. She is preceded in death by her husband and only son - Ronnie "Ronn" Garrett Gaines.

To cherish her memory, she leaves: Daughters - Bonita (Ralph) Hankerson, Leatrice Green, Marguerite Gaines, Sherry Gaines, Glenda (Kevin) Poythress and goddaughter Robbie Boyd Burt. Grandchildren - Shenique (Mikos) Jordan, Nadia
Green, MeShae (Jonathan) Prophet, Garrett Green, Tristan Gaines and Marissa Gaines. Great Grandchildren - Kira Maronski, Makenna Jordan, Leilani Ford, and Micah Jordan.

She also leaves behind two sisters-in-law - Minnie Perry and Lauretha Gaines, and four sisters - Dicey Walton, Beulah Harris, Bernice Rouse, and Angie (Al) Skinner; two brothers - Robbie Freeman and Amos (Debra) Freeman, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mrs. Bea had a special love for everyone, especially her family. She was a generous spirit who enjoyed reading God's Word, fishing,
cooking, and gardening.
